Why is men’s mental health important?

According to a research, more than 45 thousand female deaths and more than 118 thousand male deaths due to suicides were recorded in 2021 in India.

15,170 calls were received by 31st January 2021 by India’s national mental health helpline, KIRAN after its launch in September 2020. Most of the callers were between the age group of 15 to 40 years and 70% of them were recorded to be men!
